SHIPPING & RETURNS
Free shipping over $300 and $6 flat rate USPS Priority shipping for all domestic orders!
We attempt to ship every order on the day it was received (except Sundays where shipping is not available), and all orders will usually ship within 48 hours. Covid has created longer shipping times and has made our mail pickups slightly more unpredictable, so there may be times when a package is delayed outside of our control.
Temple Ro is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once the order is picked up by the carrier.
We ship internationally! We offer $23.50 flat rate international shipping everywhere except Australia. If we can ship your items for less we will refund you the difference. There are no returns or exchanges on international orders. All import and customs duties and fees that are incurred as a result of the shipment are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please note we are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items due to any parcel service fault. If you’d like a faster shipping service than our flat rate allows, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will quote you!

pre-orders
Pre-orders are chances to purchase new styles before the product is
ready to ship, usually a few weeks beforehand and always at a discount from the final retail price. Pre-order quantities are limited and are not offered for every style.
1. The discounted price helps to keep our products more affordable and accessible to a wider range of people. We want to live in a world where everyone can choose ethically produced clothing, and offering discounts helps to make that happen!
2. It cuts down on waste by helping us to gauge interest in new styles and fabrics. If we don’t get great response to our pre-order styles, we consider creating less of them which cuts down on fabric consumption and labor.
3. It helps keep our small, independent business thriving! Running an ethical fashion business and manufacturing in the USA can be challenging and expensive (to say the least).Traditional means of financing a fashion company (or any product based business) include bank loans, credit card debt, lines of credit, etc., all of which come with their own problems. Pre-orders help keep our cash flow strong and reduce our reliance on these traditional methods. We’d rather give you a discount than pay big banks fees and high interest rates!
Each pre-order product has an expected shipping Start Date listed in the product description. We ship pre-orders in the order in which they are received, so yours may not ship on the exact date listed (but rest assured, you’re in the queue). While we make every possible attempt to begin shipping on the start date, there may be times when shipping is delayed due to unexpected events like fabric delays, fabric issues, unforeseen cutting or sewing challenges, etc. Feel free to contact us at any time if you’d like an update on the status of your pre-order.
If you order a mix of pre-order and available pieces in one order, we
will ship the available items immediately and ship the pre-order at our expense when it is ready.
We have a special tab called Pre-Orders in our navigation bar, and all pre-order garments appear on our main shop pages as well. Shop pre-orders now!
Ethical Manufacturing
We are committed to manufacturing in the USA for many reasons. First and foremost, manufacturing in the USA means our product is made by well-paid adults in a safe environment that we are able to visit (sometimes in a matter of minutes) whenever we need or want. It also allows us to manage production without overseas travel, and keeps our company carbon footprint as small as possible by reducing the environmental impact of shipping product overseas.
Vegan fabric is fabric that is created without the use of any products that were created by animals or caused the suffering or exploitation of animals. Cashmere, silk, wool, leather, and feathers are examples of fabrics made from animal products, and the animals are almost always mistreated and killed for their fur, skin, or feathers. The good news is that most fabric is naturally vegan, including modal, cotton, linen, viscose, and rayon, all of which we use in our collections.
SUSTAINABILITY
Our shipping department is entirely plastic free!
Our mailers are 100% recycled, recyclable, and compostable/biodegradable. Our inner packaging and shipping tape are made from plastic-free cellulose that is compostable and biodegradable. Our tissue paper is recycled, recyclable, and extremely biodegradable and compostable with no bleach or other harmful chemicals. Even our shipping labels and stickers are recycled, recyclable, and have recyclable and biodegradable backing (unlike most stickers that use a silicone liner).
While we always suggest and encourage recycling, our packaging will naturally biodegrade quickly even if thrown in the trash.
Deadstock fabric is surplus fabric left over from production and unused/unwanted by bigger manufacturers.
We search the deadstock market for unique fabrics that we can use in place of virgin materials, thereby lowering our environmental footprint and giving these fabrics a second life!
This approach helps mitigate the harmful effects of textile waste and overproduction, and promotes a more circular economy in fashion.
While deadstock fabric can contain unsustainable fibers like polyester, we feel that using what has already been created is more sustainable than creating a new sustainable fabric from scratch. There are literally millions of rolls of unused fabrics sitting in warehouses across the country, and we feel it is more sustainable to find and use them than to create something new.
